Heartloom: Boho Luxe

Heartloom is a contemporary line based out of New York that "embodies the modern bohemian spirit". It seeks to to blend laid-back silhouettes with feminine prints to create pieces that are both versatile and appealing to today's "it-girls". 

There is a major boho trend in this season's fashions and Heartloom has you covered with some perfect pieces to help you channel your inner boho babe. Anything with fringe, fur, lace or luxe printed fabrics is going to be the ideal item to achieve this look. 

Fur vests are a must this season. Wear them over luxe silks, pretty dresses, your favourite tee or even a leather jacket. 

Looser fits are key to achieving the bohemian look. Lace dresses like this one look great with a suede jacket (even better if it has fringe!), fur vest or kimono. 

Winter is Coming

Developed by Suzanne and Andrew Marc Schwartz in 2010, SAM. seeks to create high-end outerwear that fit both urban and outdoor lifestyles. All pieces are fabricated with top quality materials such as lacquered nylons, resin-coated Egyptian cotton, furs, and 3M Thinsulate padding. 

Warmth Factor…

SAM.'s down is a 650 fill power made up of white goose down feathers, keeping you toasty warm even when it gets down to -30 celsius. The alternative 3M Thinsulate material ensures the warmth of a traditional down parka, but without the added weight and bulk, enabling you to have more movement while wearing your SAM. parka. All pieces are treated with a polyurethane coating that makes the parkas both wind and water resistant.

New Season, New Lines: K.Banasik

With the coming of fall, we're super excited to welcome in some amazing new brands into the Refinery repertoire. K. Banasik is one of our favourites among the new arrivals for this season.

Kristine Banasik, based out of New York City, started out her career as a bridal and eveningwear designer and has just recently branched out into the contemporary market. Her line of wool vests come in a variety of prints and colours and can be wrapped six different ways, making all her pieces extremely versatile. We've already almost completely sold out of our first shipment and have reordered several more pieces that are expected to arrive shortly. Get them while you can, we have a feeling these beauties are going to be the next big thing!!
