Tis' the Season for Holiday Parties

It's the most wonderful time of the year again, and Refinery Clothing has you covered for the most fabulous party ensembles for all your upcoming holiday events. It's all about sleek lines, rich fabrics and embellishments this year and we have three amazing options to have our Refinery ladies looking their best throughout all the festivities.

First up is Parker's gorgeous two piece ensemble with metallic threading throughout; creating a low-key shimmer that gives just enough contrast. Pair it with your best black stiletto and a sparkly statement necklace by Rebekah Price.

Sweater Weather

October and November are sweater season, and we can't get enough of all the fabulously cozy fall options that have arrived at the store! In today's post it's all about accenting your fall ensemble with the perfect accessories in order to achieve a chic and edgy, monochromatic look. 

For this look, we've paired Iro's amazing acid wash denim with a cozy sweater by Josie and Skull Cashmere's ultra soft circle scarf. 

As aforementioned, accessories are key in creating a well put together ensemble. Today we've chosen Rebecca Minkoff's grey stunner and super edgy bracelet by a Refinery favourite, Jenny Bird. 

One Piece, Three Ways: Anine Bing LBD

This Anine Bing stunner is the ultimate LBD (little black dress). Every woman should have that go to piece that she can throw on and feel fabulous stepping out of the house in. Made from super luxe sueded silk, this LBD is the quintessential day-to-night wardrobe must have.

New Season, New Lines: Vince, Iro, She+Lo

With the start of a new season, comes some fabulous new lines to the Refinery Clothing Co. repertoire. We have brought in a cult favourites, Vince and Iro, as well as a great new handbag line, She+Lo. She+Lo is based out of California and focuses on designs that appeal the urban woman with an everyday edge. All handbags are crafted from the finest leather with cool, trendy details.

In this first look we've paired one of Vince's ultra soft cashmere sweaters with a basic black legging, also by Vince, and She+Lo's edgy bag. Finish off the look with a moto boot and Rebekah Price's gorgeous statement necklace.

This look features a Vince sweater with zipper and leather trim details. Keep this look edgy with black leather leggings by David Lerner, or for a softer option, choose a distressed boyfriend jean.

This is definitely one of our favourite looks. Iro's amazing boucle vest with Vince's riding legging, is the perfect fall pairing. Choose either a simple black tank, like the Vince option pictured, or go for a softer look with a silk button up by Equipment. 

The Urban Family

This week on the blog we are featuring our favourite ladies and little gentleman. Our owner, Christy, is a mommy to a beautiful little girl named Scarlett. She has not only changed her life in so many amazing ways, but also inspired Christy to pursue the world of children's fashions. In today's post we are honouring all the mini fashionistas and their fabulous mommies. We, at Refinery Clothing, are so blessed to have such an amazing clientele base and were so fortunate to have this feature family allow us into their home. With the help of the extremely talented, Brianna Hughes (www.briannahughesphotography.com), we were able to capture some posh and adorable urban family moments. 

This beautiful mommy is wearing a Parker's Michelle Dress, which was featured earlier in the blog. Our mini models are both in Milly Mini, a new line to the store that is based out of New York. Milly Mini is the little girls rendition of the much loved Milly for women. The line features elegant and classic, yet totally wearable pieces for girls that are all crafted from luxe fabrics and materials. Let's face it, what little girls doesn't love to dress up?!

Although we know our mini models love dressing up, wearing fancy dresses can't be an every day occurrence! For those casual days we just received a fantastic new line called MOI that is both organic, ethically made and unisex! MOI is a Scandinavian line that doesn't fail to transmit a trendy urban vibe through all of their comfy, yet super stylish pieces. 

  

All of our mini models are dressed in MOI and this gorgeous mommy is styled in a Skull Cashmere sweater dress and IRO's edgy leather moto jacket.

Party With Parker

We just received some gorgeous new Parker pieces that are perfect for any celebratory occasion. In honour of one of our Refinery girls' birthday, we've styled three looks that are birthday ready.

This first look features Parker's Rita Top in a great python silk and Bella Luxx's shirred mini. Finish the look with a black platform and statement earrings by Loren Hope.

For a more daring outfit, we've styled Parker's Devlin Pant with a simple black tank and Cynthia Vincent's edgy Raglan Embellished Vest. Add some sparkle with a gorgeous statement necklace or a wistful of Sugar Bean bangles.

This final look is by far our favourite. Parker's Michelle Dress is a stunner with its multicoloured embellishment and luxe black silk. The ruching on the sleeves and sides adds  a sexy touch, especially when paired with a strappy black pump. 

One Piece, Three Ways: Equipment Silk Plaid

Equipment's silks are definitely one of the key pieces every woman should have in her wardrobe. Whether it's a solid coloured basic, or a gorgeous print, these silks never fail to provide versatility. In this edition of one piece three ways, we are styling Equipment's take on one of fall's most trending patterns: Plaid. As seen on many of the fall runways, such as Marc Jacobs and DKNY, plaid is huge for the upcoming season and especially in richer tones such as navy and merlot.

In this first look we've paired the silk with a gorgeous perforated vegan leather skater skirt by David Lerner. Complete this look with a black leather pump, or for an edgier take, go for biker boots and leather moto jacket by either Doma or Iro.

When front tucked into Current Elliot's boyfriend denim, this Equipment top is the perfect casual daytime look. For a luxe update, throw on H Brand's Audra fur vest over top and finish with a suede bootie.

The sweater dress will always be an autumn/winter staple, and it's even better in a super soft cashmere. Mixing prints is a great way to give yourself a style update and try something new. Here, Skull Cashmere's edgy skull print paired with this gorgeous plaid is a perfect way to stay on point with fall's upcoming trends. Look to stay lady-like with a cute black flat or opt for something different by choosing a black boot with a stacked heel.
