Melanie Auld is a Canadian jewelry designer that never fails to make us fall in love with her unique and delicate pieces. She uses the finest stones from all over the world and creates modern jewellery that is meant to be layered and worn everyday. We just received her fall/winter collection and it is already flying out the door! The price point is reasonable, making her pieces great gift options for the upcoming holiday season, or just as a little something to treat yourself!

Melanie Auld's stacking rings are the perfect easy, everyday jewelry pieces. They look simple and elegant alone and even better when stacked!

Melanie Auld lariats have become a staple in our store and continue to be a customer favourite. They look great layered over a simple t-shirt or over a silk dress for an evening look.

The 5-point stud has to be my favourite of the batch. They can be worn 3 different ways, making them super versatile! 

Eleven Paris Family Collection and More!

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing and what better time to sport a new graphic tee from Eleven Paris' Family Collection. Made from ultra soft burnout jersey, these tees look great under your fave leather or denim jacket. Whether your a fan of Chanel's famed designer or a Kate Moss cult follower, we've got the perfect tee for you. 

Eleven Paris also designs a "fashion" label that extends beyond their famed graphic tees. We've brought in a couple of their pieces and we're totally in love with their edgy vibe.

The Perry Top in cobalt is a gorgeous colour option for fall. This top can either be dressed down with jeans, dressed up with heels and statement denim for a night out, or even worn more professionally to the office. 

Cozy up in Subtle Luxury

Subtle luxury is quickly becoming one of our favourite cozy lines. The brand is a California based clothing company that seeks to create items that have a "washed, lived-in look, with a vintage feel". From sweaters, to vests, to scarves, Subtle Luxury covers the whole spectrum of cold weather necessities. Using the finest fabrics , like cashmere and wools, they make even the comfiest outfit feel luxurious.

Maison Blanc Noir

New fall arrivals have been pouring into the store. We love getting shipments from our 'tried and true' favourites, but we also love to welcome new amazing brands to our repertoire. Maison Blanc Noir has just landed at Refinery and we couldn't be more excited about this new line!

Blanc Noir aims to create the most cutting edge designs coupled with the "latest in breakthrough fabric technology and functional detail innovations". Their pieces combine luxurious wools and leathers to make a line that is both edgy and trendsetting.

In LOVE with Inverni

About the brand…

Inverni is a family owned design house based out of Florence, Italy and has been in the hat making business since 1892. They seek to create pieces that use only the most luxurious fabrics, straws, laces and furs. In addition to their line of sun hats, they have created an amazing line of cashmere toques; all beautifully detailed with varying knit patterns and many are adorned with luxe fur pompoms. 

These toques are by far one of our favourite fall/winter accessories! They all come in neutral colours, making them super easy to pair with any of your existing cold weather outerwear options. Cozy and luxe, what more could you ask for?! And, as the holidays are fast approaching, these make a great gift option.

Heartloom: Boho Luxe

Heartloom is a contemporary line based out of New York that "embodies the modern bohemian spirit". It seeks to to blend laid-back silhouettes with feminine prints to create pieces that are both versatile and appealing to today's "it-girls". 

There is a major boho trend in this season's fashions and Heartloom has you covered with some perfect pieces to help you channel your inner boho babe. Anything with fringe, fur, lace or luxe printed fabrics is going to be the ideal item to achieve this look. 

Fur vests are a must this season. Wear them over luxe silks, pretty dresses, your favourite tee or even a leather jacket. 

Looser fits are key to achieving the bohemian look. Lace dresses like this one look great with a suede jacket (even better if it has fringe!), fur vest or kimono. 

Winter is Coming

Developed by Suzanne and Andrew Marc Schwartz in 2010, SAM. seeks to create high-end outerwear that fit both urban and outdoor lifestyles. All pieces are fabricated with top quality materials such as lacquered nylons, resin-coated Egyptian cotton, furs, and 3M Thinsulate padding. 

Warmth Factor…

SAM.'s down is a 650 fill power made up of white goose down feathers, keeping you toasty warm even when it gets down to -30 celsius. The alternative 3M Thinsulate material ensures the warmth of a traditional down parka, but without the added weight and bulk, enabling you to have more movement while wearing your SAM. parka. All pieces are treated with a polyurethane coating that makes the parkas both wind and water resistant.
